I started by organising a one-year training in 2000 in Bristol, mainly because I wanted a good training for myself. Albrecht Mahr agreed to come and teach, and we had 28 people on that first training, most of whom I am still in touch with. I had no intention of doing more than that, but a year later  I realised I wanted more training for myself, and I liked Albrecht’s style so much I asked him to come over and do a second year. That was in 2002. Since then I have run a training every year and we are now on our 9th consecutive training. Albrecht was the main teacher until I took over both the basic and advanced courses in 2007.

During the intervening years I have invited other constellations facilitators to come and teach on the training and then on individual special interest workshops. Those who have come and contributed to the growth of the training over the years have been Franz Ruppert, Guni Baxa, Jan Jacob Stam, Doris Landaur, Ursula Franke, Zita Cox and Ty Francis. I have found all of them to be very special people, who have each made a particular contribution.

Now the basic training course is facilitated by myself and Barbara Morgan, and I facilitate the advanced course. In addition Zita Cox does a workshop exploring Environmental Constellations; Albrecht is pursuing a particular interest in working with physical illness and trauma, and I am doing a new workshop in 2010 with my colleague Julia Vaughan Smith in order to explore in more depth the complex dynamics in step-relationships.

In 2008 John Mitchell and I started up our publishing company, Green Balloon Publishing, in order to publish Franz Ruppert’s first book translated into English, which I had the privilege of editing. In 2010 we published my first book on constellations: In the Presence of Many - Reflections on Constellations Emphasising the Individual Context, and in late 2010 we will be publishing Franz’s next book in English.
